Born in Waterloo, Ontario, Tiffany grew up dreaming of moving to the city to pursue a career in Interior Design. After graduating with honours from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, she realized that nothing would compare to her love of design, so she packed up and moved to Toronto to fulfill her lifelong aspiration. Once here she founded a décor blog, earned her Bachelor of Interior Design degree from the Academy of Design in Toronto and joined the team at Sarah Richardson Design.
At the firm, Tiffany is an integral part of many projects, creating floor plans and custom millwork drawings on CAD, developing fabric schemes, maintaining strong client relationships and keeping projects organized and on track. Tiffany lends her photography skills to capture our latest projects for articles on the SRD website. She is also the resident artist on the team, using her skills to develop conceptual sketches and more elaborate interior renderings when our clients need help visualizing the final product.
Tiffany’s work has been featured on popular lifestyle websites The Everygirl and Flare.com. She spends her free time scouring antique markets, documenting her apartment design adventures on Instagram, and getting lost in a good book.
Tiffany's Design Equation:
THING YOU WOULD BUY FOR YOUR HOME IF MONEY WERE NO OBJECT
A 65” Chateau Range from La Cornue in black with gold accents. If I had a range like that, I might actually cook on a more regular basis!
BEST DESIGN BARGAIN YOU BOUGHT FOR YOUR HOME
A vintage Leon Rosen Pace Collection glass and brass waterfall coffee table for $75.
FAVOURITE DESIGN BOOK
The Things that Matter by Nate Berkus – I can relate because I attach so much sentiment in the objects in my home. It also made me cry, so there’s that.
FAVOURITE DESIGN PERIOD/MOVEMENT
Hollywood Regency or English Country
IF YOU WERE A FABRIC, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?
Linen – casual, low maintenance and natural.
FIRST DESIGN MEMORY
I used to design my dolls’ houses. I would use facecloths as area rugs and save my allowance to buy miniature furniture.
WHAT IS YOUR NEUTRAL/COLOUR DESIGN RATIO?
65% neutral / 35% colour
TREND I WILL NEVER REVISIT IS...
Matching furniture sets
NEXT DREAM VACATION DESTINATION
Island hopping in Greece

Audrey Hepburn – love that her fashion features classic lines and a neutral palette
MY STYLE WOULD BE DESCRIBED BY MY COLLEAGUES AS...
Eclectic traditional. I like classic architecture and furnishings mixed with some unexpected, playful elements to keep it from feeling stuffy.
‘Moon River’ Johnny Mercer
